Day 11: Gaming System of Choice

I think that each gaming system today has its merits, though I frown upon the pure gimmickness of the 3DS. Though I've always been a Nintendo fan by nature, I've recently come to appreciate the PS3 and the Xbox 360, though the Xbox systems remain slightly lower in my estimations.

However, at the end of the day, none of the console gaming systems out there can compare to the PC, except possibly an exceptionally high spec laptop. It has the power to run incredible games, has a much wider variety and history of games (where else can you play Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Syberia, Civilization, Starcraft, Warcraft, Minecraft, Arts and Crafts...) and still has the internet and all of your other bits and pieces that you can have on a computer. Also, emulators. You can play most of the classic games you miss so much out there on a PC through emulators. SNES, Genesis, N64, and the rest are all possible on one system. And the controls are editable! You can plug in a joystick or even a regular controller and it all still works.

Hands down the best. And this particular PC looks AWESOME. Apparently it's made of wood.
